Parfume Roses

The English rose breeder David Austin mingles, for many years, old historical roses with modern varieties. He succeeded in combining the traits of old roses such as flower form, color, scent and the traits of the modern roses such as health and continual flowering. In this manner, a new rose group was formed. Although most Parfume roses are part of the continually flowering shrub roses, there are also English floribunda and climbing roses. Varieties from other rose breeders are among the “Parfume Roses”.
