The English rose breeder David Austin mingles, for many years, old historical roses with modern varieties. He succeeded in combining the traits of old roses such as flower form, color, scent and the traits of the modern roses such as health and continual flowering. In this manner, a new rose group was formed. Although most Parfume roses are part of the continually flowering shrub roses, there are also English floribunda and climbing roses. Varieties from other rose breeders are among the “Parfume Roses”. The prices in our webshop relate to bare root roses.
🌹The rose flowering season is slowly drawing to a close, but there is still a very extensive range of potted shrub, climbing and standard roses available at Rosarium Lottum🌹 Potted roses can be planted all year round. The bare-root season began at the start of October. If you opt for bare-root roses, you can order and arrange delivery via the online shop. If you’d like to collect these bare-root roses, please order first and arrange a collection by appointment. Plant your roses now and enjoy the Queen of Flowers to the full again next spring! You are very welcome at Rosarium Lottum; our rose paradise is open every day, including Sundays. Please note: in October, we’re open on Sundays from 11 am to 1 pm. You can pre-order bare-root roses (i.e. without soil or a pot) for the 2026–2027 season via our online shop. These roses can be delivered from mid-October to mid-April (subject to weather conditions).
